Àtic Blanc
The Àtic Blanc residential project, by Fran Silvestre Arquitectos, is an example of the Mediterranean architecture that characterises the studio and is an exceptional setting for our outdoor furniture. Àtic Blanc is one of GANDIABLASCO's private projects in the centre of Valencia, Spain. This residence reinterprets the conventional approach to recover the potential of disused roofs, achieving an open-plan oasis with the spatial quality and scale of a small Mediterranean village in the heart of the city centre.
Àtic Blanc is divided into a day area, where the kitchen, dining room and living room are arranged along a continuous space, and the night area, made up mainly of the bedrooms. The daytime spaces lead out onto different terraces, acting as an open-air rooftop terrace from which to overlook the whole city and to allow the light to enter, providing a different aspect to the architecture.
BLAU, the collection of outdoor designer furniture by Fran Silvestre for GANDIABLASCO, is integrated into the home, creating an intimate and comfortable atmosphere based on pieces with a subtle, timeless presence and architectural character. The BLAU outdoor chairs and tables provide continuity between indoors and outdoors using the same subtle colour palette that runs through the grey scale. The elements of this system - armchairs, chairs, sofas, sun loungers, stools, tables... - are made exclusively from aluminium, making them lightweight and durable. In addition, the micro-perforated sheet metal allows light to pass through and prevents water from leaking onto the surface.
A white watchtower where Mediterranean essence meets the contemporary architecture and design of this part of the world.
