Villa Twelve

Villa Twelve is a modern detached house with a Mediterranean feel in the beautiful town of Santa Ponsa, Palma de Mallorca. The natural landscape blends in with the contemporary architecture, in which the façades with stone walls and white mortar rendering stand out. A mixture of structures gives rise to two floors and a splendid veranda next to the swimming pool, while inside, natural stone and white continue to dominate the floors and walls. Villa Twelve is one of GANDIABLASCO's residential projects in Palma de Mallorca.

With this wonderful setting developed by architect Jaime Salvá Pascual with interior design carried out by Marga Comas, GANDIABLASCO has discovered a unique home for our outdoor furniture collections DNA and ENSOMBRA. The smooth transition between indoors and outdoors embodies the Mediterranean lifestyle that we love to feature in our international residential projects, generating personalized environments for the enjoyment of outdoor living all year round.

Next to the swimming pool and under the veranda, different elements of the DNA outdoor furniture collection blend in with the architecture, an original design by José A. Gandía-Blasco that we integrate into any environment: from private gardens to large-scale installations.

Made entirely from mechanized aluminum framing and thermo-lacquered in white, a designer lounger, a modular outdoor sofa and a DNA low table reinterpret the combination of light and shadow of the horizontal designs that can be found in the work of Japanese architects and in Mediterranean shutters. All these elements can be presented in an anodized or thermo-lacquered finish in colors such as bronze, anthracite, sand, black, copper or the new wood effect, among many other tones. The fabric in the soft cushions and mattresses adds comfort thanks to its polyurethane foam rubber padding. The high-quality water-repellent fabric for Villa Twelve is in a resounding monochrome white, although GANDIABLASCO's range of colors and textures allows for an infinite number of customized finishes.

The LLAR bioethanol fireplace that we present here in thermo-lacquered steel in white, is much more than an outdoor brazier. This designer burner, by Borja García, is elegant and sober and contributes to transforming this outdoor space into a natural extension of the warm of the villa’s interiors.

A pair of ENSOMBRA designer parasols unfolds, revealing its entire structure, acting as a beautiful shelter from the sun. This original design by Odosdesign rises to a height of more than two meters and reinterprets the opening and closing system of fans to obtain a simple mechanism that can be unfolded and closed on a single slat.

ENSOMBRA is a designer sunshade made with a galvanized steel base and a thermo-lacquered stainless-steel pole in white - as in the case of Villa Twelve – and can also come in ten other shades. The slats that make up the ENSOMBRA sunshade are strips of phenolic wood that can be unfolded depending on the desired amount of light and shade. More than a decorative parasol, this design can create a playful combination of colors, lights and shadows that transforms any outdoor space into a vivacious and idyllic spot.

DNA, LLAR and ENSOMBRA, three of our most iconic collections, demonstrate in Villa Twelve the brand’s ability to bring to life serene and elegant contemporary design atmospheres whilst maintaining a clear functional and timeless approach.
