Espacio la nube

PASSION FOR ARCHITECTURE

Espacio La Nube is an architectural project produced in 2016 during Madrid Architecture Week together with INCM Madrid at ETSAM (Higher Technical School of Architecture) and the COAM (Official Architects’ Association of Madrid) to celebrate RetroActive. The international urban planning and architecture event organised by EASA Denmark “European Architecture Students Assembly” has been running for 35 years and chose Madrid as host city in 2016.

As part of the event, the Espacio La Nube inflatable pavilion was one of the 4 locations picked for RetroActive, a space we furnished with GANDIABLASCO outdoor furniture collections. We used the CHILL collection and the Cubos and Esferas outdoor lamps designed by José A. Gandía-Blasco, together with the iconic Mangas Space collection designed by Patricia Urquiola for GAN, our indoor brand.

Espacio La Nube welcomed 200 Architecture students from all over Europe during the 10 days of Madrid Architecture Week, offering presentations by professionals from a range of sectors as well as debates and cultural activities connected with the RetroActive theme.

The official presentation of INCM Madrid Espacio La Nube took place in the cultural space and citizens production laboratory MediaLab-Pradoin Madrid.
