The shared horizon: Nuances of Mediterranean light in Paris
January 26, 2026 | Fairs / Gandia Blasco Group /
Gandia Blasco Group wishes to express its gratitude to all visitors, professionals, and friends who shared its creative proposal from January 15 to 19, 2026, at the París Nord Villepinte exhibition center. From the 2026 edition of the Maison & Objet fair, the firm inaugurates the year by sharing its vision “Outdoors is the new indoors” in a key setting for global design innovation. This philosophy seeks to blur the boundaries between interior shelter and outdoor freedom, bringing the comfort and sophistication of lounge furniture to open-air environments.

To see without revealing: linen and light were the main constructive elements of the stand
Our stand, designed by Alejandra Gandia-Blasco together with Gandiablasco Studio, was conceived as a light and fluid architectural installation that reveres Mediterranean light. Its structure of suspended translucent linen bands allowed for the creation of layers of light that enhanced the materiality of each piece, based on a commitment to sustainability by using minimal wooden elements.

This ephemeral design plays with transparency and movement, generating a serene atmosphere where light is naturally filtered, and creating a constant dialogue between shadows and the volumes of the furniture. In this veiled interior landscape, the bestsellers and several new collections from GANDIABLASCO, GAN, and Diabla are presented with indoor finishes under the concept: Outdoors is the new indoors.
GANDIABLASCO: Innovation and sustainable processes
At GANDIABLASCO, a selection is presented that stands out for its durability and respect for the environment. Among the main pieces, the HOS Limited Edition is shown, a work by master architect Kengo Kuma, resulting from a study of recycled fibers and artisanal techniques with iroko wood. This collection stands out for its organic aesthetic and a tactile texture that pays tribute to traditional Japanese construction. To this proposal, the DUNNE collection is added, designed by Nao Tamura, which emphasizes the beauty of semi-industrial processes, being made entirely of 100% recyclable aluminum through extrusion, tongue-and-groove joining, and welding. Its design is characterized by clean lines and a structural robustness that does not compromise its visual lightness.

As novelties in Paris, we find DJ booth by Gandiablasco Studio, the IRIS series by Alejandra Gandía-Blasco, which uses vitrified tempered glass printed with new sunset motifs that evoke an oneiric and warm atmosphere, the CONO by José A. Gandía-Blasco, the CORD dining chairs and dining table by Groundwork Studio, and the new ESPAGUETI dining armchair by ERRE, an exercise in ergonomics and formal simplicity. The exhibition is completed with classics and accessories such as the iconic ENSOMBRA parasol by Odosdesign, the TIMELESS relax club armchair by Made Studio, the BOSC extendable dining table, and the ONSEN by Francesco Meda and David López Quincoces, which combine materials such as steel and synthetic leather, as well as ONDE by Luca Nichetto and ARENA by Søren Rose Studio, benchmarks of contemporary comfort.

Finally, a special emphasis is placed on the misión social de nuestra colección ARAM collection, woven with stainless steel thread by a community of women in India, alongside the new ARIA lamps designed by Mayice, which explore the transparency of glass and the warmth of LED light.

DIABLA: Fresh and singular spirit
With DIABLA, dynamism and color are provided through designs that work both indoors and outdoors. The firm exhibits versatile furniture such as the HARBOR dining tables collection by Archivolto, ideal for its geometric lightness, and the PLIER dining chair by Oiko design, made of 100% recyclable aluminum under a foldable and functional design concept. Signature design is represented by the GRILL lounge armchair by MUT Design, with its characteristic linear aluminum structure that reinterprets traditional grids, the VALENTINA UP lounge chair, and the PLISY UP lamps by Alejandra Gandia-Blasco, which fuse the aesthetic of textile pleats with materials suitable for the outdoors. The landscape of DIABLA is completed with accessories such as the GOBI planters by Pablo Gironés, whose soft shapes integrate into any garden or terrace.

GAN: Textile origin and contemporary craftsmanship
From GAN, visitors are invited to trace our textile origins from 1941 through artisanal techniques that look toward the future. As a premiere in Paris, the BOTÁNICA collections by Bodo Sperlein, inspired by organic plant forms, MOMOS by José A. Gandia-Blasco, and RETI Blue-Green by Studio Terhedebrügge, which stands out for its chromatic and structural play, are presented. These novelties coexist with timeless classics from the firm such as CHADDAR white by Charlotte Lancelot, GOZ by Kengo Kuma, which emphasizes the ruggedness of the wool, BANDAS by Patricia Urquiola, PLY by MUT Design, and BACKSTICH by Raw Edges, all examples of how manual craftsmanship can be avant-garde. Likewise, great prominence is given to the sustainable outdoor line with rugs made from recycled PET fibers, highlighting the DIAMOND models by Charlotte Lancelot, SALINE by Made Studio, and NOMAD by Alejandra Gandia-Blasco, which offer the warmth of an indoor rug with the resistance necessary for outdoor use.
