Stejarii Country Club

Immersed in the Baneasa forest, north of Bucharest, the Stejarii Country Club is an exclusive haven of calm and tranquillity far from the noise and tumult of the capital. Covering an area of 50,000 m², this club has been designed based on the pillars of family, sport, and nature, offering an environment where architecture yields to the landscape. The BL Associates Interior team was responsible for bringing these spaces to life, selecting pieces that do not only serve an aesthetic function but act as tools for emotional connection, capable of inhabiting both indoor lounges and terraces exposed to the forest air with the same naturalness.

The club's elegance is manifested through the Japanese-inspired lines of the ONSEN collection, a creation by Francesco Meda and David Quincoces for GANDIABLASCO. The main terrace is organised through the harmonic repetition of the ONSEN 2-seat sofa, the ONSEN lounge chairs, and the ONSEN coffee table 153, configuring gathering hubs that invite private conversation while enjoying the coolness of the vegetation. The play of volumes and the materiality of these pieces achieve a perfect technical integration with the building's structure, providing comfort that transcends the seasons.

To reinforce this welcoming and dynamic character, the project incorporates the versatility of the ERNO modules and the PATOSO poufs, from the Diabla brand, and designed by Alejandra Gandía-Blasco. While the ERNO system brings a casual and flexible air to the communal areas, the PATOSO poufs introduce a note of relaxed ergonomics, ideal for moments of leisure after sporting activities. At the Stejarii Country Club, the combination of the sobriety of ONSEN with the freshness of ERNO and PATOSO demonstrates that signature design is the necessary common thread to create an oasis of calm where every detail is designed for hospitality and shared enjoyment.
