Exploring New Creative Horizons
From January 16–20, 2025, the year’s first Maison & Objet fair took place at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition centre under the theme “Sur/Reality, New Creative Horizons”. This edition explored how surrealism, fantasy, distortion, randomness, humour, and poetry are shaping innovative approaches to design, inspiring the creation of narratives, landscapes, and spaces that are as surprising as they are desirable.

In this context, the three brands of the group have unveiled our latest collections and innovations at the Signature Pavilion. Each brand contributed to the event’s theme while reflecting Gandía Blasco Group’s vision for outdoor spaces: “Outdoors is the New Indoors.” This concept emphasises designs that create seamless connections between indoor and outdoor environments, blurring spatial and aesthetic boundaries while ensuring visual continuity.
New from GANDIABLASCO
At Maison & Objet, GANDIABLASCO, our brand renowned for its architectural and modular designs tailored to contemporary lifestyles, introduced several exciting novelties and expansions of existing collections. Among these were the Arena chairs and tables and Capa chairs, designed by Søren Rose Studio; the Bosc tables, chairs, and luminaires by Made Studio; the Onsen tables and chairs by Francesco Meda and David Quincoces; and the high table and coffee table versions of Iris, designed by Alejandra Gandía-Blasco Lloret. Additionally, the Ensombra parasol was revamped to include a pouf and side table, created by Odosdesign. For architectural spaces, we also showcased two remarkable innovations by José A. Gandía-Blasco Canales: a new Upgraded Daybed and the Cono hanging pergola.

Our Arena collection, with its organic design inspired by traditional craftsmanship, the warm material details of Capa and Onsen, and the exceptional comfort and versatility of our Bosc series, exemplify the seamless connection between indoors and outdoors. These designs merge aesthetics, warmth, and textures to create open spaces where indoor and outdoor environments blend harmoniously, eliminating any sense of transition.
At our stand at Maison & Objet, we introduced two new pergolas as structural elements for outdoor spaces: the innovative Upgraded Daybed, equipped with digital shading controls, integrated LED lighting, chargers, and sockets; and the whimsical Cono hanging pergola, which captured attention with its unique and unconventional designe.

As poetic and artistic highlights, we complemented the GANDIABLASCO space with our new pouf and side table designed to go with the iconic Ensombra parasol, with its distinctive fan-inspired slat design. Additionally, the new high and coffee table versions of the Iris tables were unveiled, showcasing vibrant tabletops reminiscent of stained glass, drawing inspiration from the photographic work of Alejandra Gandía-Blasco Lloret.
New from GAN
From GAN, our contemporary textile crafts brand whose origins form the foundation of the group, several new collections were introduced. These included the Nomad textile collections, designed by Alejandra Gandía-Blasco Lloret; the Lines rugs, created by Mayice; the Weave collection, designed by Helena Rohner; and the La Geria-Lanzarote rug, crafted by José A. Gandía-Blasco Canales.

2025 Maison&Objet Fair. GAN Rugs collection. LINES. WEAVE
Both Lines and Weave align seamlessly with our theme of exploring new creative horizons at this edition of Maison & Objet. The Lines collection delves into the possibilities of wool in its natural state, featuring exceptionally long strands of fabric that offer a unique aesthetic and tactile experience. Meanwhile, the Weave models are conceived as geometric abstract artworks, incorporating intricate textural variations that add depth and richness to their vibrant colours.

2025 Maison&Objet Fair. GAN Rugs collection. NOMAD
Our Nomad collection, in turn, offers a fresh perspective on the ephemeral, showcasing how versatile environments can be created with minimal textile elements. This collection enables the figurative construction of both indoor and outdoor landscapes. For a more literal representation of a landscape, the La Geria-Lanzarote rugs capture, with striking realism, the unique patterns of viticulture practiced on the volcanic soils of La Geria in Lanzarote, one of the Canary Islands.

New from Diabla
And last but not least, Diabla, our youngest and most innovative brand, showcased two exciting new additions: the Valentina chair, designed by Alejandra Gandía-Blasco Lloret, and the Mona tables with square tops, created by the Diabla team. Both designs embody a fresh and bold aesthetic: the Valentina chair stands out for its striking contrast between its bold upholstered volumes and the lightness of its structure, while the Mona tables captivate with their archetypal roundness and playful shapes.

It was a true pleasure to participate in this edition of Maison & Objet, featuring a theme so perfectly aligned with the latest trends in spatial design. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who visited our stand to explore our new collections and innovations.
