The Sunset House

THE SUNSET HOUSE is a private home in Vancouver with views over Vancouver’s East Port in the Georgia Straight. It is one of GANDIABLASCO in Canada.

A concrete frame, its walls mimic wooden cladding and it stands in a splendid pine and cedar forest on the Georgia waterfront. It has been created with natural materials like steel, wood and leather, giving shape to painstakingly carved and spacious outdoor areas. Living in the house gives a feeling of cave dwelling.

The space inside this single-family home spreads onto the terrace, where project architects, Mcleod Bovell, have included an attractive swimming pool with a 12 metre drop. A superb selection of outdoor furniture puts the finishing touch to the décor at THE SUNSET HOUSE. In this outdoor space, CHILL designer beds create an ideal haven for enjoying the natural beauty of the surroundings. Architecturally designed outdoor chaises longues that harmoniously complement the contemporary architecture of the home.
