ME Malta

Rising above the St. Julian’s skyline, the ME Malta presents itself as an avant-garde landmark where the organic architecture of Zaha Hadid Architects redefines the island’s landscape. The project, which features interior design with great visual strength by the studio Autoban, has been conceived to challenge the conventions of traditional luxury, fluidly integrating the building's energy with the deep blue of the Mediterranean. In this setting of bold curves, GANDIABLASCO furniture acts as the perfect counterpoint, demonstrating once again that signature design can inhabit both indoor spaces and the most iconic outdoor areas with the same presence.

The experience in the pool area is a celebration of geometry and comfort. Here, the Tres al Fresco sofa coexists with the DNA modular pouf, pieces designed by José A. Gandía-Blasco Canales. Visual continuity is reinforced with the Flat armchair, a creation by Mario Ruiz that strategically extends from the swim area to the hotel restaurant, dissolving the boundaries between different social activities. Rest is elevated to a new dimension thanks to solutions that prioritize horizontality and calm, such as the Contract Daybed, the Flat round chill bed, the DNA 91 low table, and the ONDE two-seater sofa, the latter designed by Luca Nichetto.

The climax of the project is found in the exclusive rooftop on the 33rd floor, where the transition toward the heights demands a language of sobriety and elegance. For this space, the Islablanca collection, designed by José A. Gandía-Blasco Canales, was selected. The geometric purity of this series allows the furniture to take a back seat, giving full prominence to the stunning panoramic views. At ME Malta, each piece has been selected to enhance the livability of an extraordinary building, creating environments where Zaha Hadid's architecture and GANDIABLASCO's design merge to offer a unique sensory experience.
