Canaves Oia Suites
The Greek island of Santorini hides in its northwest corner Oia, a charming fishing village of houses set on steep cliffs of the mythical Aegean Sea, full of mythology and centuries-old caves. Canaves Oia Suites is located in this natural Mediterranean paradise and is GANDIABLASCO's contract project in Oia, Greece.
The history of Canaves Oia Suites began in 1985 when the Chaidemenos family began the transformation of the 17th century caves, used to store wine, into a design hotel equipped with spacious suites, rooms decorated with classic furniture and works of art, a wine cellar and a gourmet restaurant. The hotel is located on a cliff overlooking the Caldera just 20 minutes from the beach. It also has a private yacht for cruises around the Greek islands.
One of the most attractive areas of Canaves Oia is the swimming pool that merges with the Aegean Sea and invites us to sunbathe on the 356 design sun loungers designed by José A. Gandía-Blasco Canales and Pablo Gironés for our brand DIABLA. The outdoor sun loungers emerge above the water of the pool, in the highest area, and crown themselves as an absolutely idyllic place where we can enjoy the magnificent sunsets.
