Canaves Oia Suites
Hidden away in the north west of the Greek island of Santorini is Oia, a charming fishing village with whitewashed houses perched on steep cliffs overlooking the legendary Aegean Sea, packed with mythology and ancient caves. CANAVES OIA SUITES is situated in this Mediterranean natural paradise. This is the GANDIABLASCO Contract project in Oia.
The history of Canaves Oia Suites began in 1985 when the Chaidemenos family started work on transforming the 17th century caves, which were once used to store wine, into a designer hotel with spacious suites, rooms decorated with classic furniture and artworks, wine cellar and gourmet restaurant. The hotel sits on top of a cliff with views over the Caldera and only 20 minutes from the beach. It also has a private yacht for leisure cruising around the Greek islands.
One of the most attractive spaces at Canaves Oia is the swimming pool that merges with the Aegean Sea, providing an inviting setting for sunbathing on the 356 designer chaise longues by José A. Gandía-Blasco Canales and Pablo Gironés. The outdoor chaise longues look out over the water of the swimming pool, in the upper pool area. An idyllic spot for watching magnificent sunsets.
