The Importance of Semi-Industrial Processes and Craftsmanship in “Night at the Museum IV – Cabinet of Curiosities” and Gastronomy in Mediterranean Culture with “LIVING OUTDOORS”

October 13, 2025 | Events / Gandia Blasco Group /

Valencia has taken center stage as the epicenter of Mediterranean design and lifestyle with the celebration of the “Night at the Museum IV – Cabinet of Curiosities” and “LIVING OUTDOORS”.

Through these events, we established a powerful link between art, craftsmanship, and the creative process in a historic setting, while presenting innovation in outdoor spaces by fusing architecture, gastronomy, and material avant-garde. In doing so, we offer our vision of the industry: one that successfully unites tradition with the future.

Night at the Museum IV – Cabinet of Curiosities

The Beauty of Semi-Industrial Processes and Contemporary Craftsmanship Center Stage

The fourth edition of “Night at the Museum” took place last Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at the historic Museum of Fine Arts of Valencia. This event, which will remain open to the public until October 30, was materialized as an ephemeral intervention that highlighted the beauty of our production process and the know-how behind our design pieces.

We highlighted emblematic collections such as Dunne, whose semi-industrial manufacturing processes involving manual tongue-and-groove require extensive labor, as well as Aria and Aram, which are entirely handcrafted by a community of women in rural India. All of this, along with the Hexa and Momos rugs by GAN—the latter awarded the NYCxDesign Awards in the sustainable design category —demonstrates our commitment to the value of manual work in contemporary textile design through craftsmanship and slow production using traditional techniques and natural fibers and DJ Booth. The intervention by Greenarea and LZF generated a captivating dialogue between nature, light, and textures, underscoring the value of manual work in a context of artistic heritage.

We joined forces with the Valencian firms LZF Lamps and Greenarea to transform the Museum’s non-exhibition spaces. This collaboration focused on the manual manufacturing and the origin of the selected collections, inviting attendees on a revealing journey from the conception to the materialization of the products.

We sincerely thank the Museum of Fine Arts of Valencia, Cervezas Turia, Jamones El Maño, Palanca Carnissers and Vaqueta Gastro Mercat for their collaboration, as well as all attendees for joining us on this unforgettable evening.

LIVING OUTDOORS

Presentation of Nedra and Showcooking by Ricard Camarena

Design moved outdoors on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, with the successful presentation of NEDRA at the “LIVING OUTDOORS” event. The chosen setting was the exterior of the Mercado Colón in Valencia, in front of the Porcelanosa Porcelanosa store.

Together with PORCELANOSA Group and Fran Silvestre Arquitectos, we discovered a new dimension of outdoor lifestyle, where design meets haute cuisine. NEDRA is a Smart Kitchen designed by the architect Fran Silvestre for GANDIABLASCO. This revolutionary outdoor kitchen concept successfully merges architecture, functionality, and sensory experience. The proposal captivated attendees with its minimalist and lightweight aesthetic, highlighting its table-shaped module and the hidden induction system that offers a continuous and elegant surface when not in use.

The culminating moment of the event was the live showcooking by the prestigious chef Ricard Camarena, who demonstrated NEDRA’s capacity and functionality while preparing his culinary creations. This gathering underscores the way we believe contemporary design and innovative materials should redefine outdoor environments.

Gastronomy in Mediterranean culture transcends mere eating; it is a fundamental social event that promotes togetherness, celebration, and cultural cohesion. This approach is deeply rooted in the Mediterranean diet, recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

We thank all attendees for enjoying this unique culinary experience with us.
