In 2025, the creativity and avant-garde character of Gandía Blasco Group’s designs were internationally recognized at the 20th edition of the Best of Year Awards. These awards celebrate the most original work in global design, highlighting projects and creative minds that define the future of the sector.

The most significant aspect of this edition was the recognition of collections that prioritize social impact, sustainability, and functionality, consolidating the group’s commitment to responsible design. In this edition, three proposals from the group’s brands were Winners in their respective categories:

BANDAS

Best of the Best: Social Impact

Designed by Patricia Urquiola, this collection stands out for its modular system and deep social value, as it was conceived to facilitate the work of a group of female artisans in India within their own homes. It is based on a handcrafted design that allows for spatial personalization through hand-embroidered, interchangeable bands created by the Gan Women Unit, which connect to adapt to different environments.

DUNNE

Outdoor Furniture Collection

Created by designer Nao Tamura, this piece highlights the beauty of semi-industrial processes, recreating the organic forms of dunes with just two pieces of 100% recyclable extruded aluminum assembled by hand through a tongue-and-groove system. This arduous and laborious process emphasizes industrial details alongside manual ones, while its fluid morphology provides maximum comfort through high-resistance technical materials.
