At Rockefeller Center, between Fifth and Sixth Avenue and with a breathtaking view of the neo-Gothic St. Patrick's Cathedral, lies a secret garden in the heart of New York. The Rockefeller & Co rooftop is one of the Gandia Blasco Group's contract projects in the United States.
The emblematic commercial and business center, built a century ago in Midtown Manhattan, is today one of the city's main tourist attractions and remains among some of the most eagerly awaited fixtures in the New York calendar, such as the installation of the ice-skating rink and the large Christmas tree.
SOLANAS, a collection of outdoor furniture originally designed by Daniel Germani for our brand GANDIABLASCO, blends in with its surroundings in the golden tone of the thermo-lacquered aluminium structures. The subtle glints of light are reflected in the outdoor chairs and the SOLANAS designer armchairs, which surround both the outdoor high table (140 cm in diameter) and the low table (70 x 70 x 35 cm high) from the same collection.
The SOLANAS outdoor armchairs and lounge chairs are designed to be elegant and comfortable. Their organic designs feature polyurethane foam rubber cushions covered with water-repellent fabric in an infinite number of finishes, whose cover material is very easy to clean, maintaining their removability. Perfect for outdoor use, these pieces offer maximum durability, quality and customization.
The tables, on the other hand, combine the welded thermo-lacquered aluminium frames with the ultra-resistant Dekton® by Cosentino material, the same material that the panels that form the surfaces are made of. The metallic GOLD color of the structures adds a unique feel to any residential terrace, outdoor dining room or larger contract project, as is the case with this New York rooftop in Rockefeller & Co.
