The rug as an enveloping furniture piece

“I found the texture of the recycled PET very interesting, so I decided to experiment by combining it with wood. Recycled PET has a rich texture, similar to natural materials, and a certain roughness that I find very appealing.”
Kengo Kuma

HOS is the first collection in the GANDIABLASCO Edition line, designed by Kengo Kuma for GANDIABLASCO. The design strongly evokes traditional Japanese architecture. The structure is built using Okiari, a carpentry technique that employs the interlocking of carved wood pieces, and pays homage to natural atmospheric phenomena like rain or mist, which are represented in its fabric.

The HOS collection is, in essence, a collector’s piece. It perfectly exemplifies the cornerstones of this new project, rooted in craftsmanship and Research (R&D&i). By being presented as a limited edition, GANDIABLASCO guarantees the exclusivity and lasting value of this exceptional work of design.
