Gandia Blasco Group at the HABITAT 2023 CONGRESS on Strategic Innovation for Internationalization and Competitiveness

A new edition of the HABITAT CONGRESS took place on October 24 at the CaixaForum Valencia auditorium in the City of Arts and Sciences, this year under the theme “Internationalization and competitiveness”. With the slogan “Defy borders: keys to your international strategy”, this meeting organized by AIDIMME aimed to provide companies with knowledge and inspiration to navigate in a constantly evolving global landscap.

As part of the official agenda of the congress, Alejandra Gandía-Blasco, the Creative and Communication Director of Gandia Blasco Group, took part in the expert discussion titled “International Certifications that Contribute to Sustainable and Health Value in Habitat Installations” alongside other professionals in the design and construction industry, including Jesús Llinares, CEO of Andreu World; Pablo Illueca, CEO of Flos Architectural; Juan Manuel García, BREEAM Advisor and Founder of Tecnosostenible; and José Martí, Founding Partner of ERRE Arquitectura.

The roundtable emphasized the role of energy certifications currently available in the sector, such as BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method), a sustainability evaluation system for constructions. The discussion revolved around how to approach a contract project from a global sustainability perspective.

In this context, Alejandra Gandía-Blasco shared her vision on the objectives and strategies that we at the Gandia Blasco Group are implementing in our projects in the habitat sector and ephemeral architecture projects, revealing the connections between certified sustainable buildings and their equipment. This extends from our environmental and social responsibility policy to the relevant quality certifications in the search for the best suppliers and the continuous improvement of our production processes. In short, corporate practices aligned with the sustainable development goals set by the United Nations.
