Novotel Madrid Center

Just five minutes from Retiro Park lies one of the flagships of the Accor hotel corporation, the Novotel Madrid Center, with 790 rooms and more than 3,000 m² for events. This hotel is one of the Gandia Blasco Group's contract projects in Madrid.

Our collaboration is part of the remodeling of this cosmopolitan hotel, developed in 2020 by the International Hospitality Projects (IHP) studio with the aim of opening up spaces, combining design and functionality and introducing nature into the establishment. This concept is reflected in places such as the central square, with an architectural feel and overlooked by an imposing glass pergola. The Mediterranean lifestyle, the essence of GANDIABLASCO, is reflected in ‘The Summit at Novotel’ space, the perfect summer setting thanks to facilities such as the outdoor swimming pool with a solarium and the terrace, equipped with some of our contemporary outdoor furniture designs.

The roof terrace has stunning views of the city and is furnished with pieces from some of our most renowned collections, selected to fit in with the fresh and timeless look of the project. The high stools with backrests and the FLAT outdoor high tables, exclusively designed by Mario Ruiz for GANDIABLASCO, are the highlights of the bar and cocktail area, while the outdoor armchairs and low tables create intimate atmospheres in which the comfort of the fabric is combined with the durability and elegance of the aluminum frames. The designs that we have produced for the renovation of the outdoor areas of the Novotel Madrid Center stand out for the elegance of the finishes in the structures and coverings, which combine grey and blue tones.
