Farol Design Hotel

Cascais, a charming old fishing town set in a beautiful sandy bay on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. It is home to the five-star FAROL DESIGN hotel, a Contract Project by GANDIABLASCO in Portugal.

FAROL DESIGN was once a 19th century mansion built on the rocks, now decorated and restored by renowned Portuguese designers. The result is an avant-garde project with parquet floors, dark wood furniture and a glorious pallet of harmonious colours set off by unique natural surroundings.

A real boutique hotel in many ways. The terrace has magnificent views over the Atlantic Ocean and is furnished with pieces from the MERENDERO collection designed by José A. Gandía-Blasco Canales, sofas with canopies and built-in tables, and several DAYBEDS, raised sofas with canopies by GANDIABLASCO where guest are able to lie back and contemplate the views in comfort.

Facing the Atlantic, the On the Rocks bar lounge overlooks a salt water pool, a little corner of paradise equipped with CHILL outdoor loungers, 356 designer chairs and tables designed by José A. Gandía-Blasco Canales and Pablo Gironés.

A fantastic swimming pool with infinite views over the Ocean is equipped with 356 and NA XEMENA designer loungers and ENSOMBRA parasols by Odosdesign, a wonderful spot for a relaxing day listening to the waves crashing over the rocks just a few metres away. A truly magical experience.
