Altis Belém Hotel & Spa

The ALTIS BELÉM HOTEL & SPA is a 5-star designer hotel in Belem alongside the Tagus river, in Lisbon's most historic and monumental neighbourhood. This is the GANDIABLASCO project in the west of Portugal.

The hotel's interior décor is an ode to Portuguese discoveries, a thread that leads you on a unique journey through history from Mauritania, through Arabia, India, the kingdom of Siam, Osaka, all the way to Brazil, with each room having its own exclusive design.

The Altis Belém Hotel & Spa is home to Feitora restaurant, which holds a Michelin Star, and the award-winning BSpa by Karin Herzog with its indoor pool equipped with the GANDIABLASCO outdoor furniture collection. The outdoor loungers have been made with aluminium and polyethylene frames, two hard-wearing materials that are perfect for complementing the hotel sauna and gym. Outdoor armchairs and tables from the same collection furnish the terrace overlooking the Tagus river. To create a series of shady areas, the project used the ENSOMBRA sunshade designed by Odosdesign for GANDIABLASCO. These are wonderful spaces for revitalizing both body and mind.

The hotel won the award for Portugal's Leading Design Hotel in 2015 and 2016, and was named Europe's Leading Design Hotel in 2016 by the World Travel Awards. It was also named Best Luxury Romantic Hotel in 2015 by the World Luxury Hotel Awards. The hotel is only 7 minutes on foot to the Hieronymites Monastery and the Belem garden, two of Lisbon's unmissable gems.
