2CAL Plaza

We travel back to the West Coast of the United States. Completed a few decades ago, in 1992, the Two California building represents a milestone in the history of Los Angeles architecture. This exclusive 229-metre-tall skyscraper designed by Arthur Erickson now houses offices and flats among other facilities and is one of the most iconic buildings in the Bunker Hill area of Downton LA. The building was renovated in 2017 and has been awarded an LEED Platinum sustainable building certification by US Green Building. 2Cal Plaza is one of the Gandia Blasco Group's contract projects in the United States.

The 2Cal Plaza courtyard-terrace is popular among those who live and work in this innovative urban ecosystem. Throughout the different outdoor communal spaces, we find areas for relaxing and socializing, featuring outdoor furniture from the NA XEMENA collection, by Ramón Esteve for GANDIABLASCO. Outdoor lounge chairs and sofas and low designer tables from the NA XEMENA series make up a unique concept in the field of outdoor furniture with which, 25 years ago, we generated a new contemporary and architectural atmosphere for outdoor spaces. Because of its timelessness and geometry that is inspired by architecture, NA XEMENA blends harmoniously into the work of Erikson, an advocate for modernist style and clean designs without excessive ornamentation. In addition, the concrete, stainless steel and glass that embody many of Erikson's other designs are joined by strong, durable aluminium combined with 100% recyclable polyethylene slats from our wide range of NA XEMENA outdoor designs.
