Víctor Carrasco

Born in Valencia (Spain) en 1974, Víctor Carrasco began his professional career after graduating cum laude with a degree in Industrial Design Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain in 1998, with multiple collaborations with prestigious companies in product design, strategic and communication management, for example: Boffi, Coalesse (Steelcase group), Gandia Blasco, Glas Italia, Hodema, LZF, Viccarbe, etc.
After more than 9 years of close collaboration as founder, creative and strategic director of Viccarbe with international designers like Patricia Urquiola, Jean-Marie Massaud, Arik Levy, Vincent Van Duysen, Jeffrey Bernett, etc. Victor Carrasco develops his own projects based on his unique understanding of balance.
Victor Carrasco founded Viccarbe in 2000, starting with very limited self funding resources as a young graduate, he soon stood out thanks to his coherence and business strategy, surrounding himself with prestigious designers and with young ones that later became top designers.
His ability in trend prediction and his passion in learning helped him create a dream team of associates that have helped him become an eclectic and skilful professional.
Viccarbe is a young contemporary furniture company for home and contract, present in more than 50 countries with a renowned and prestigious collection.
In 2008 he was awarded the prestigious design international Principe Felipe Prize.
