Cocoon normando lounge chair, it is the new piece of SOLANAS collection in Gold colour.

Spring is in the air and with it the 58th edition of the Salone del Mobile, Milan’s celebration of all things design related. This year GANDIABLASCO’s brand will be presenting its latest products, conceived for enjoying the outdoors, including a new sun lounger, as well as additions to its more recent and successful collections. During six days from Tuesday April 9th through till Sunday April 14th Milan becomes the design showcase for the world, and GANDIABLASCO will be representing the best of Spanish outdoor furniture design inspired by the Mediterranean lifestyle.

This year the GANDIABLASCO stand will be located in Hall 20 Stand B01/C06, an area which has been specially designed to exhibit the brand’s latest products. There the GANDIABLASCO’s brand staff will be happy to present and explain all the details.

The collections that will be on display include SOLANAS, designed by architect Daniel Germani in collaboration with GANDIABLASCO’s brand and Dekton® by Cosentino. With its simple lines, elegant and delicate design, the modular collection sees the addition of a sideboard, a cocoon, a high table, a mirror and lanterns, in the new white gold finish.

Another innovative addition to the GANDIABLASCO’s brand family is the DNA Teak collection in black. Designed by José A. Gandía-Blasco, the pieces acquire a smarter and more timeless expression in black. The warmer feel of wood together with the new colour underlines the playful patterns of light and shade created by the sun light falling on the timber slats supported on aluminium profiles that form the structure for the collection.

Nowadays off the Fuorisalone tends to be as important as the design fare, and this year is no exception. Milan will be crowded with parallel exhibitions and events, one of them is the art exhibition at Rossana Orlandi art space, in Via Bandello 14-16, which will feature the BUIT collection designed for GANDIABLASCO by the Mayice Studio, founded by architects Marta Alonso Yebra and Imanol Calderón Elósegui. BUIT combines the textile origins of Gandia Blasco S.A. with its experience in the design of outdoor furniture. It is a sculptural collection of modular furniture that includes a simple armchair and a pouffe made from an aluminium mesh, woven with a special padded textile for the outdoors, developed in collaboration with Kvadrat Febrik.

All of us at GANDIABLASCO are looking forward to seeing you in Milan!
