IMM Cologne, one of the most important showcases for emerging trends in the international furniture and interior design, has once again counted on the participation of GANDIABLASCO. For the latest edition of IMM Cologne 2019 which was celebrated between the 14th and 20th of January several of its outdoor collections were exhibited including SOLANAS, TIMELESS and DNA TEAK together with DIABLA, the most recent GANDIABLASCO brand as well as its most ‘homely’ brand, GAN.
TIMELESS, designed by José A. Gandía-Blasco Canales, president of the company and creator of some of its most emblematic collections, together with architect and designer Borja García, a classic collection characterised by its simple silhouette, quality materials and neutral colour scheme. SOLANAS, the collection designed by Argentinean architect Daniel Germani in collaboration with GANDIABLASCO and the innovative surface Dekton® by Cosentino, inspired by the summers that he spent on the coast of Uruguay. DNA TEAK, also designed by José A. Gandía-Blasco Canales, follows in the line of elegance and sobriety that has come to define the band’s products over the years with the addition of teak wood that lends warmth to the collection.
GANDIABLASCO took the opportunity of exhibiting at Cologne 2019 to present its most recent brand, DIABLA, a laid back take on the design of furniture, accessories and decorative objects for the outdoors, that daringly incorporate colour and vitality in their design. Visitors to IMM Cologne had the chance to also see the DIABLA collections, Valentina Outdoor and the portable outdoor lamp Plisy, both designed by Alejandra Gandía-Blasco Lloret, together with the Donut stool by Mikiya Kobayashi; as well as Touffu, the pet kennel designed by Manel Jimenez+Violeta Alcalde; the D12 collection of minimalist aesthetic structural elements, designed by architect Marià Castelló, and finally MONA; a highly versatile collection of single leg tables that are guaranteed to make a big impact.
While GAN, the GANDIABLASCO brand that is most associated with handicrafts also presented its latest collections; the award winning Mirage rug created by Patricia Urquiola and LAN Space by architects Neri&Hu, together with Canevas Geo, a new creation from the young designer Charlotte Lancelot.
We hope you have enjoyed our latest designs as much as we have!
