GANDIABLASCO will be at the Salone del Mobile in Milan 2017 with a tailor made stand: an XXL pergola designed by José Gandía-Blasco and Borja García. The Valencia based firm continues to create ephemeral architecture that has delighted its customers who can enjoy the outdoors all year round whether it be in restaurants, hotels or private houses.
The pergola, made from nine large rectangular modules is inspired by the GANDIABLASCO series Outdoor Spaces and exudes the same characteristic features as all the outdoor furniture: the combination of design and engineering that aims to establish a continuity between indoor and outdoor spaces. This scenario has been conceived to express the spirit of the brand where the new collection BLAU, designed by the architectural studio Fran Silvestre, will be launched.
Manufactured from fluid and light forms the various elements of the BLAU outdoor furniture collection have an unmistakable architectural character. They are made exclusively with aluminium with perforated panels that allows the
light to pass through making them almost transparent as well as preventing the water from collecting on the horizontal surfaces.
All of the pieces, armchairs, sofas, loungers, stools, foot rests, tables and the light fitting in the shape of a tree, look like white pages folded by the wind. Depending of the angle from which they are view they can look very different.
Come along and see BLAU first hand at the GANDIABLASCO stand and enjoy their outdoor spaces at iSalone between April 4th and 9th 2017.
