For the third year in a row, RED (Reunión de Empresas de Diseño) is collaborating with the marketplace InteriHOTEL trade fair in the production of #REDLounge, a space conceived by the interior designer Elia Felices. A selection of companies representing Spanish design, among which is included GANDIABLASCO and its indoor branch, GAN have been provided with a context to display their most recent collections, as well as providing fair visitors with a comfortable and inspiring lounge area. The objective here is to allow professionals from the hotel sector experience first hand the excellence of the designs from the participating companies that make up RED as well as showcasing the potential to convert their establishments into modern and surprising spaces.
InteriHOTEL 2016 took place at Barcelona’s Centro de Convenciones Internacional (CCIB) and hosted more than one hundred companies and professionals that specialize in the interior design of hotels. The Lounge Zone provided the event welcome area as well as providing an oasis of calm during the proceedings.
The space carried out a double function. On the one hand providing a practical and necessary place to relax, have a snack, meet the press or simply get together with other professionals and exhibitors. But more importantly providing a display showcase for professionals to see for themselves the possibilities of the participating firms to respond to the hotel sector’s needs: the creation of spaces with their own personality that make the guest’s stay a unique experience as well as responding to the technical and legislative requirements applying to public spaces.
GANDIABLASCO was represented in the Lounge zone with the BLAU tree, a light fitting designed for the outdoors designed by Fran Silvestre that was showcased in three different colours, as well as a set of pieces from the DOCKS collection designed by Romero Vallejo. The attendees were also able to see first hand new products from the GAN 2017 catalogue, the indoor branch of GANDIABLASCO: the WAAN rug, designed by Dienke Dekker; two GRAPPY easychairs designed by Kensaku Oshiro, as well as two trays from the MIX&MATCH collection designed by Flavia del Pra.
