At GANDIABLASCO we are celebrating our 75th birthday without forgetting our roots: a long journey that started with textile production in Valencia back in 1941, from there to furniture design and outdoor spaces during the 80s, now distributed within more than 90 countries.

The family firm founded by José Gandía Blasco during the 40s was reinvented by his son José, the current President of the company, together with his team managed by Sergio Pastor, the Director General.

José redefined the creative and commercial focus of the company putting the emphasis on design and innovation as a philosophy. The characteristic style of GANDIABLASCO was marked by José’s own personality and Mediterranean roots which little by little became the company’s defining feature. The brand’s textile traditions continued with the arrival of GAN and its Director, Mapi Millet. The indoor branch of GANDIABLASCO continues to grow around the world.

75 years later, 3 generations continue at GANDIABLASCO, José together with his children Álvaro, Commercial Director and Vice-president of the business, and Alejandra, Communication and Creative Sub-director.

The team has grown over the years, but we continue to respect our founding values, an international reference within the outdoor furniture sector that never stops reinventing itself.

A milestone made possible thanks to all of you and which, last Friday October 7th, we wanted to repeat with the CASA GANDIABLASCO, after first presenting it during the Salone del Mobile event in the world capital of design, Milan and later in New York, coinciding with the ICFF.

The night started at 8 p.m. under a rising crescent moon. Among the guests were the GANDIABLASCO team, friends, family, ex-employees, partners, providers, local associations, design and architectural studios, councillors from the local Ontinyent town hall …. Enjoying the memories and anecdotes, the live jazz rhythms, the selection of finger food, wine, beer and laughter as well as a photocall against a deep sea turquoise blue and sandy colour backdrop as a keep-sake.

“The deputy-mayor of the Ontinyentí council, Jaime Peris, stressed the long history of the company which he congratulated it on. He underlined its importance within the local economy of Ontinyent and Vall d’Albaida, providing employment for many families and drew attention to its international profile, present in the five continents.”

For 75 years and three generations the quality, the design and the desire to maintain the free spirit that characterises the firm’s philosophy continue to define its values that are the foundation of the success of GANDIABLASCO.

Congratulations to all!
